Especially indicative of the terroir: these 40-year-old vines push their roots into the geographically very limited flysch zone, giving the wine a complex finesse. Limy sandstone and marl are typical of Bisamberg Hill as well as of the most important Döbling (district of Vienna) vineyards. Nutty and toasted aromas as well as a sweet extract and subtleness are characteristic of this flysch Veltliner.
On the palate, the wine is dense and full-bodied with volume, "a wine featuring amazing viscosity, creating suspense, elegant, with a beautiful length, promising".
