The grapes stem from the deep, sandy soil of the Falkenberg vineyard, an east-facing area on the Viennese side of Bisamberg Hill. This wine with its mellow balance of creamy fruits, compact structure and charm is the result of maturing in large oak barrels.

Capreal Cuvée Reserve

Full-bodied & appealing

The name Capreal derives from the Latin term “Capreolus capreolus” which is translated as “roebuck”. Capreal represent the high quality of this cuvee and is praised for its intensity, harmony and appeal. This mix of 50% Zweigelt and 50% Merlot aged in barriques (French Allier oak, 30% young wood) for 18 months and was then blended together. Their harmonious demeanor is accentuated by smooth fruit as well as delicate notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and clove. A wine with body, elegance and length.
