Grape harvest 2025 is done
A vintage full of finesse and aromas is on the horizon
A pleasantly cool July with balanced rainfall provided optimal conditions in the Weinviertel: The grapes were able to ripen slowly and harmoniously – a decisive factor for elegance and balance in the later wine.
Careful harvesting for the highest quality
We started harvesting the early-ripening grapes at the beginning of September in order to obtain a fresh, racy Grüner Veltliner grape juice.
The main harvest of the DAC qualities followed in the last two weeks of September. The grapes from the well-known vineyard sites were harvested until the second week of October. Each grape was carefully selected – with the aim of capturing the typicity and maximum quality of the 2025 vintage in the best possible way.
first impressions of the young wines
The first young wines are highly aromatic and promising: the Cabernet Blanc, for example, is fragrant and elegant. The Muscatel impresses with its typical aroma and freshness. The Grüner Veltliners are particularly impressive with their clear fruit, fine spiciness and lively structure. At the end of November, we will present the first Grüner Veltliner, the racy Vier Zeiten from the 2025 vintage. Further wines will follow in spring 2026.
